Kent Manske's large scale (up to 96 inches), digital prints are narratively sequenced pictographs from personal 
language systems he has created. What first appears to be easily decipherable works, evolve into complex 
language maps - stories of the human condition, stories of cognition and survival, stories of participation 
in an increasingly complex society. Manske's work combines both digital and traditional printmaking 
processes in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional constructions. His work has been exhibited 
internationally. He teaches visual communication at Foothill College in Los Altos, California.
