What first appears to be easily decipherable works, evolve into complex language maps - stories of the human condition, stories of cognition and survival, stories of participation in an increasingly complex society. Manske's work combines both digital and traditional printmaking processes in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional constructions. His work has been exhibited internationally. He teaches visual communication at Foothill College in Los Altos, California.
